The HH-Harvesters have been developed specially to harvest herbs for oil production. Although designed initially to harvest lavender, these harvesters and options available for it are capable of harvesting a wide range of crops including Rosemary, Manuka (Tea Tree), Horopito and other crops for essential oils.
More suitable for larger areas, sloping ground or for harvesting bulky crops.
Available in two models:
● HH – 2002 – CT towed with hydraulic supply coming from a small tractor
● HH – 2002 – CTP towed but with its own hydraulic power pack
- All drives heavy duty hydraulic.
- Hydraulic raise and lower of cutting head.
- Hydraulic offset drawbar aids in alignment with crop and makes manoeuvring easier at headlands, through gateways and for travelling.
- Adjustable finger width to suit different size bushes.
- Wheel track is 1500mm to suit horticultural crops.
- Standard chassis height is 500mm, although some crops (e.g. lavender) can be cut higher than this.
- It has in feed features (i.e fingers) to suit individual crops feeding the crop to a balanced double reciprocating cutter bar.
- Conveyor width is 1200mm, the conveyor feeding the product into vegetable bins or large bags (fadges).
- There is room on the machine for one or two people packing product, etc.

The HT-Tom harvester can be used to harvest a variety of crops including Lavender, Rosemary and Echinacea. Its motorized power head cuts the crop at a preset height and blows the cuttings into a collection bag. Initially developed for lavender, the HT-Tom can also be used for seed head collection.
- New model now available, as shown in top centre picture (HT–Tom – full view).
- Single person operation.
- Quick assembly time of approx. 2 minutes, slightly longer if sling removed.
- Cuts and collects the crop in a single pass with negligible plant disturbance or ground compaction.
- Adjustable fingers pick up the crop from the sides of the row and feed it over the cutter bar, ensuring all the crop is cut.
- Adjustable cutter bar height, allowing plants / cuttings to be trimmed to the optimum height/length.
- Circular cutter bar follows contours of shrubs, providing provides better cutting of sides and results in a finished shape pleasing to the eye.
- Adjustable frame height to suit operator, with engine controls on side frame, the operator can walk directly behind the harvester or walk offset in a wheel track.
- Frame is fully zinc plated for low maintenance.
- Quick dismantling of harvester and compact storage – no spanners required! Main wheels have quick release lynch pins allow quick removal and folding of frame for compact storage or easy transporting in a vehicle.
- Heavy duty sling protects collection bag.
- Quick release frame for the collection bag allows easy bag removal. Bag sits on a sling and is attached to the quick release frame with a bungy cord.
- Extra harvesting bags available for different crops.
- Cutting height (at outside edge): adjustable from 100 to 870mm Note: Due to blade curve (1150mm radius) the cutting height is 135mm higher in the centre of the harvester.

V8S-1210 Tea Plucker: Designed originally for harvesting tea, but has found many other uses and can harvest Rosemary, Lavender, Echinacea and Camomile Oil Extraction Plants (Horopito). With its 1210mm curved cutter bar it is very effective at harvesting or pruning lavender and gives a pleasing shape to the cut bush or shrub. The engine drives the cutter blades plus an air blower which blows the crop over the cutter blades and into a collection bag. It can be used by itself, however for a more even cut and less operators it can be mounted in our HT-Tom harvester frame.
V8WORLD-1210: As above, but with a straight flat 1210mm or 1600mm cutter bar. Used to harvest a variety of crops including leafy lettuce varieties, Mints, Lemon Verbina, Basil, Lemon,Melissa, Sage, Oregano, Stinging Nettle, Rosemary, Passion Flower, Lemon Balm, Peppermint, Spearmint, Marjoram, Savory, French Tarragon, Chamomile Oil Extraction Plants (Horopito), and taking cuttings for propagation.
It can be used by itself, though for a more even cut and less operators it can be mounted in our HT-Table Top, HT-Nursery, HT-Salad or other special purpose harvester models.
